Can some one tell me what this sounds like?(my hand)?

i woke up on sunday with just 3 dots on my palm area. later on during the day it got bigger and that night i developed a fever. i went to the ER and they said it was staph. it got worse monday night tuesday morning. tuesday morning the swelling got bigger. i was beginning to lose feeling in my thumb and hand. my mom took me to the ER and i got told it was shingles. as i am here now its getting more swelled up. Here are my symptoms: my left hand on my plam close to my thumb swollen and its really painful and warm to touch. i have no feeling in my thumb and my hand and most of my arm is numb and i have a red streak going up arm which is also hurting when touched. my palm area is very tender and almost purple my thumb is also a purple color. my lymphnods in my armpit is swollen and hurting. i have been to the er twice and ive herd 2 diffrent things that i have staph and just recently was told that it was shingles but it dosent look like that at all.
