How many extra large crickets should a 1 year old leo eat?

hi i have just bought a year old leopard gecko and he dosent eat much and i am worried he might lose all the weight he has gained in the shop, the shop owner said he eats about 5 extra large crickets a day but only 2 are dissapearing nightly. can someone help?
