Has Obama ran an honorable campaign?

Obama says he is different, he's above partisan attacks and is a new type of politician. Why then does he make dumb attacks about McCain and the 100 year war comment, the 7 houses attacks, and put out an ad saying McCain is so old he can't even use a computer. Why would Obama do these things when he says he is a different type of politician? Is this behavior the "change" that Obama promises? Is this the "hope" that we're supposed to believe in?
