2 of my guinea pigs died yesterday?

Yesterday i went outside to feed my 3 guinea pigs as usual but hen i got there only one of them bounded out, Daisy. I placed some hay in the hay rack and still only daisy stayed to eat... i opened the enclosed part of the hutch and saw the body of cookie. I closed it and ran inside to tell my mum, i was really shaking and my mum told me to go and get another food bowl for daisy so i did. i went back outside with the bowl and my mum said "ginger's dead too" and sure enough, they were gone. my mum blames it completely on me which makes me feel even more depressed, we haven't talked since yesterday and my family seem to be avoiding me like i'm the murderer. I understand that part of life is death; and i think that they died because it was very cold outside where i live. so why do my family blame me? they weren't completely my responsibility but i feel like an outcast in my own home. I feel really guilty because like any other pet owner you sometimes feel like you haven't always treated them right or you have been mean to them sometimes but i still feel like it's my fault. please help

Overnight expenses when working away from home?

Our company may soon be undertaking a contract around 2 and a half hours travel from where we are based so we are most likely going to need some employees to stay in accommodationn nearby. We will obviously need to pay for the accomodation and pay them for the inconvenience. The contract is for around 3 years and while some staff may be there full time 5 days a week most will be there as and when they are required. Just unsure as to how any payments are treated with regards to tax. I ume that the cost of accommodation is treated as an expense in the same way as our fuel costs are and is not seen as a taxable benefit to the employee in the same way as a company car is. And is the extra pay they recieve taxable in the same way as overtime would be. any advice would be great as a friend of mine thought there is some kind of tax relief on staying away but i cant find any info on it.

Yesterday, my nasal pages were sore a little bit & also some of my tonsil. So I took my allergy medicine & some Aleve & I was okay for the rest of the day. I also gargled with Listerine last night which seemed to either kill the germs on that part of my throat or something like that. But when I woke up this morning, it seems like whatever it is has migrated to the middle of my throat & nothing seems to be working. It doesn't really hurt per se', its like raw & feels sensitive. I've tried everything in the world possible. I've tried salt-water gargles (which makes it worst), lemon & honey, pain relievers, chloroseptic & cepacol. I need to kick this thing before Christmas tomorrow. Any suggestions?

Why is my new African Sideneck turtle acting strange?

I bought a turtle for my girlfriend from petsmart like 2 days ago. I bought a starter set that came with a 20 gal tank, filter, the UV and basking lamps, a basking area, and pellet food. I put him in and he instantly just has been scratching at the walls to barely put his snout out of water like hes gasping for breath but hes an aquatic turtle? The water turned foggy overnight and he just sits under this bridge-like thing we got for him to bask on. He never basks either. Theres gravel too. About 5 inches of water. Breakthrough bleeding--is this normal?

Because my husband and I haven't been having this month, I became a little lax with my birth control pills and accidentally skipped two during the second week of active pills. About 10-11 days before my period's supposed to start, I started experiencing breakthrough bleeding. At first it was mostly just brownish discharge, but now it's a lot redder and is heavy enough to fill two pads a day. I've also started having really bad cramps for about 3-4 hours a day, and today my chest started hurting a lot--not like sore , but sharp, sometimes shooting pains in my chest. This all started about 4 days ago. How long should I expect this to go on, and is it something I should see my doctor about? Ever since I skipped those two pills, I've been taking them religiously every night.

i woke up on sunday with just 3 dots on my palm area. later on during the day it got bigger and that night i developed a fever. i went to the ER and they said it was staph. it got worse monday night tuesday morning. tuesday morning the swelling got bigger. i was beginning to lose feeling in my thumb and hand. my mom took me to the ER and i got told it was shingles. as i am here now its getting more swelled up. Here are my symptoms: my left hand on my plam close to my thumb swollen and its really painful and warm to touch. i have no feeling in my thumb and my hand and most of my arm is numb and i have a red streak going up arm which is also hurting when touched. my palm area is very tender and almost purple my thumb is also a purple color. my lymphnods in my armpit is swollen and hurting. i have been to the er twice and ive herd 2 diffrent things that i have staph and just recently was told that it was shingles but it dosent look like that at all.

Horse Jumping Help Needed?

Ive been jumping for a few month now and the highest I've jumped is 1metre (3ft) I find that when I jump I feel very unbalanced and always seem to get flung out of the saddle a lot. Also I fall on the horses neck just when weve landed. This only seems to occure on jumps approxamatly 55cm+ . Chances are you'll be just fine. If the broth/water was already piping hot (boiling) then it probably killed whatever would've ailed you. Honestly, chicken gets a really bad rap for salmonella. Sure no one wants cross contamination and the risk of getting sick. However, more people get sick with salmonella outbreaks on things like eggs, packaged raw spinach leaves, alfalfa sprouts at salad bars...yeah, seriously. Just do some searches and you'll see some of the largest more recent outbreaks didn't involve chicken/poultry meat.

I remember watching a movie at a sleepover when I was younger (around 95) about this red headed woman who eventually realizes that her daughter is a devil, also the daughters babysitter is a devil. They have these symbols on the palm of their hand that indicates this. The woman is pregnant and is getting help with the devil problem from a private investigator. The PI winds up getting killed in a freak accident from a construction ball or cannon ball or something which obviously the devils did. Anyway the woman gives birth to the baby and sees the mark on its hand so she knows its a devil too. The last scene is when the mother goes into the nursery with a gun to kill the baby but can't bring herself to do it and kills herself instead. Really morbid movie that gave me bad nightmares. Why do people get angry when I act like I am of a culture that isn't mine? Ok, my fianc� and I rent our apartment. Our drain to the bathtub is severly clogged. My fianc� tried Drano and even Liquid fire. I have a dilemma and I am starting to doubt my sanity. I was dating a guy(We'll call him Bob) my age (26). He has 3 kids. He also had major anxiety and jealousy issues. He is willing to help me finish my college degree, let me use his dodge nitro, and is very attentive and lovey dovey. Here comes the problem~We have been spending more time together lately and he is starting to freak me out a bit. I didn't think there would ever be a time that I wanted to say STOP IT YOU'RE BEING TOO NICE! But it's just too much, always wanting to kiss me and be touchy feely and I am feeling completely smothered. I told him yesterday that I needed more time before I could move. We have only been together 4months and he got very upset, in fact he acted like a small child that had his toy taken away. He actually pouted. I wasn't breaking up with him just needing more time. Then to top it all off I started thinking about Bob, and I miss him, even though he was dysfunctional, slightly inattentive and came with baggage. Should i go to the ER for heavy bleeding & small clots during my menstrual cycle?

I had unprotected on 1/3/11 & took plan B on 1/5/11. My next expected start date for my cycle was 1/19/11 & since I had sharp pain in my stomach, I took a First Response early detection pregnancy test that showed I was pregnant on 1/18/11. Later the next day on 1/19, I had spotting in a pinkish color then later that night I had light bleeding. I called my OBGYN's nurse & she told me that its my period since I'm bleeding on my expected cycle date. I bled very lightly next couple of days until the 21st were it began heavy. Now being my 7th day of heavy bleeding & cramps, I wanted to know if this is my period or am I having a miscarriage. My cramps are awful but I can bare it but today they're off the chain mad pain. My OBGYN cant see me until the 31st. What should I do?

Since you had the axles replaced it seems there shouldn't be any problems with them, but if the quality of the part is lacking you could have another bad CV joint. If you can safely prop the car up, have a look at the axles to make sure the 6 little bolts that hold them on are still in place and tight. Changes in the suspension geometry might have contributed to this problem. If you know the wheel bearings are bad, you need to replace them. They can be noisy and about to quit doing their job in a catastrophic way. They cost a lot, but so did the rims and lowering.

In September I'll be embarking on a four year Philosophy course at the University of St Andrews, and I'm totally shitting myself. All of my peers seem morbidly enthusiastic about university, and are constantly raving about how they're looking forward to the great social life, and how many parties they'll go to, and how exhilarating the independence will be. When *I* think of university I feel nothing but dread. St Andrews is a good nine hours' drive from where I currently live in the West Midlands, so I'll be totally alienated from everything I know. I have extremely low self esteem, and consequently find social situations excruciating. The vast majority of people think I'm odd, and I'll be leaving my few very close friends down south. I have no particular longing to form more intimate bonds with people, but I would like to feel comfortable around my fellow students and know that they think I'm not too much of a freak which, as I see it, is a futile hope.

I am looking for a tire between 42 and 44 inches. Well if you're talking about Nintendo's VGC, you can only use 5th gen pokemon and they're double battles. However if it's any other tournament that is single battle it looks pretty good, though if you're using charizard, I would find a rapid spinner for your team, as stealth rocks could wipe out your charizard easily, especially if it's a belly drum build. Either that or replace it for another physical sweeper; Lucario, Garchomp, Scizor, and Excadrill are each very good contenders, especially for a sandstorm team like yours. Just make sure you actually EV train them and get good IVs for them or you'll get wiped out. If you're having difficulty deciding, or thinking of a different team, test them out on this online emulator people use to test out their teams before actually making them, I'll post the link below. The site also shows good builds for each pokemon that you may consider. Hope this helps. :)

Let me tell you something I learned just recently: If a reader doesn't want to read your first sentence, it's doubtful they'll want to read anymore. Your story has action. Why not start with that? If anything, you want to hook your reader before going into detail. At least, that's what I think. I mean, if you have a good plot, but your beginning drags on and ON, your reader won't even get there. Learn to balance your details out with your plot. Pay special attention to it (plot) since you have your details down; it'll be what drives your story. Got it? No plot, no story. Be sure your plot is evident to your readers!!! Sometimes I think I only annoy people while I am alive, but then when I die they will come out the woodwork and act all sad as if they didn't want me to leave in the first place. Guitar effects and PA?

So far my board consists of a behringer "ultra metal" distortion pedal, Digitech "Bad Monkey" tube OD, chorus, MXR eq, and ibanez digital delay, in that order. When I run it through my amp(little 30W roland practice amp) it sounds great. However, when I try to run it through a PA, it just sounds really hollow and weak. The bad monkey od has an amp modeling output designed for going straight to a pa, and when I use that it sounds a little better, but still not great. Is there something I can do to get that amped sound w/out lugging my amp along and micing it or using the line out?

MTV Overdrive problem?

I have the same issue. You could be going through early menopause. My doctor told me to get Astroglide which is supposedly less yucky than KY Gelly. If you cannot find it (I did but the expense!! WOW!!!!) Anyhow use it KY and lots before make sure you do lots of and go easy on that. Then use the KY when you are ready. Tell the bf and hopefully if he is a good guy which I presume he is, he should understand and take it slow. It is to be enjoyed to begin with. I still have issues with it. I am over 50 though. I read that menopause can start in the 30's and sometimes even earlier. Get your hormone levels checked through a blood test. They can tell if you are perimenopausal. It would take about 2 years to have your hair grow the right length. For a girl, longer hair makes you more attractive. With practice, you can slowly reshape your face to resemble almost anyone. My big influence is the terminator. It took me a few years, but I got the "look" close to the character in the movies. 16 month old twins -eating habits?

My babies were born at 33 wks. I�m a full time working mother who hasn�t had a break for the last 16mths. My babies have just begun to walk and I�ve already tried giving them normal food...they just play with it or choke and vomit(especially if they�ve just had soup or pur�). One of them is an expert at vomiting. What is the best way to go about introducing normal food? I�ve tried teaching them how to chew but they never use their teeth to do it (just the tongue and the roof of their mouths instead). Otherwise they are developing normally. It's extremely lightweight (lighter than any conventional .45 or 9mm) and more accurate than any pistol I have fired in my life, not to mention that it's oh so so pretty! Anyway, from a ballistics standpoint, the 5.7x28mm round has greater armor than competing pistol calibers and more kinetic energy as well as having a wider bullet diameter than the 9mm and .45.
