How does current global warming alarm represent a plausible proposition to call someone a sceptic?

Since 1988 we have had only repetition and escalation of claims but how does this make it more plausible. Surely the failure to prove the case for Man Made Global Warming for more than 20 years makes the case even less plausible, as does the evidence of the recent scandals.
