Get Rid of Sore Throat In A Day?

Yesterday, my nasal pages were sore a little bit & also some of my tonsil. So I took my allergy medicine & some Aleve & I was okay for the rest of the day. I also gargled with Listerine last night which seemed to either kill the germs on that part of my throat or something like that. But when I woke up this morning, it seems like whatever it is has migrated to the middle of my throat & nothing seems to be working. It doesn't really hurt per se', its like raw & feels sensitive. I've tried everything in the world possible. I've tried salt-water gargles (which makes it worst), lemon & honey, pain relievers, chloroseptic & cepacol. I need to kick this thing before Christmas tomorrow. Any suggestions?
