T / knocking sound coming from driver side wheel area. Suspected CV axle.?

Since you had the axles replaced it seems there shouldn't be any problems with them, but if the quality of the part is lacking you could have another bad CV joint. If you can safely prop the car up, have a look at the axles to make sure the 6 little bolts that hold them on are still in place and tight. Changes in the suspension geometry might have contributed to this problem. If you know the wheel bearings are bad, you need to replace them. They can be noisy and about to quit doing their job in a catastrophic way. They cost a lot, but so did the rims and lowering.
