My two front teeth are loose. The dentist is advising me to have a 6 crown splint and place it on my front 6?

teeth, he says that this will stabilize the loose teeth and prevent them from falling out. Does this sound like a good way to go. I am wondering why crown the 4 adjacent teeth when those teeth are perfectly fine. Can they not just crown the 2 loose teeth and splint those 6 teeth together, or do all six have to be crowned. Please Help,, Im schedule for this procedure on tuesday morning. PLEASE HELP, I AM FREAKING OUT.
