This is the best God can do?

To all believers on Y/A, If you truly believe in a loving, pionate, and forgiving God, why the Hell would "he" allow the level of suffering on this planet? Honestly, if God made everyone, and he loves everyone, why would "he" allow war, famine, poverty, disease, death, destruction, crime, corruption. . . the list goes on and on. Is "the lord works in mysterious ways" really the best you can do? Try to explain to me, an Atheist, why i would ever follow religion (Any religion) where "God" preaches love and morality when the level of human immorality on this planet is disgusting, largely because of religion.
