Ron Paul has denied writing in his '90s newsletters ranting against blacks, gays. Do u beleive him?

I have no proof that he wrote them, but he is the one to hold accountable for what his newsletters contained. I heard that he spoke before a Neo-Confederate convention in Texas in 1996 and I've been trying to run that down to see if it's true. I heard a guy on one of the news channels saying he had proof, but I just got in on the last part of it. Didn't hear it all. He really didn't appear to me as a racist. I haven't heard him make any racist remarks. If he had done better in Iowa and New Hampshire and looked to be a serious contender, then someone would dig it up. I can't answer the question with any actual proof of this and I won't condemn anyone on that serious of a charge with rumors. It may be true; it may not.
